Wild Jake's Club Meeting for May will be on the 24 at Canyon Glen Park in Provo Canyon from 1800 - 2100. Bring your foil dinner and a friend. We now have 62 members lets see if we can all be there.
The topic for this month will be
Land Navigation, with a map and compass. We will have three stations 1) Pace count with a game to learn how to follow a compass heading and reinforce your pace count. 2) You will learn how to make Ranger beads and how to use them. (please bring $5 to help with materials i.e. 550 cord, lighters, paper and ink for maps. pencils, and protractors). 3) And finally a real live man hunt. We plan to split up into 3 groups and then into smaller units to rotate through the stations spending an hour at each one. While at station two you will be able to cook and eat your dinner.
