Welcome!

Hi and thanks for visiting my blog. I thought that it would be fun to start an open forum of survival topics and outdoor skills that others can refer to for information and instruction. I will post a survival topic or skill and give some information on it. I will also be posting excerpts from my survival manual that I have been writing. Feel free to comment on it, or ask about a topic that I have not yet covered. Even professionals can learn a new way to do something. In this way we can all help each other. If you have a specific experience that you would like to share please feel free to do so at your own risk of others' comments. If you disagree with someone please be civil and respectful. One last thing, please keep it "G" rated i.e., no foul language or inappropriate subjects. If you break the rules I will pull your post. So let's keep it clean and have some fun!

June's Club Meeting!!

I am sorry that I will have to postpone June's Club meeting. To make up for it we will have two meetings in July. One early in the month and one on the normal 4th Friday of the month. We will also have a contest in July and give away a really nice bushcraft knife. So you better be there at the first one in July to get the contest info.

March Club Meeting

This months club meeting will be held this Friday the 21 March at 1800-2100 in Canyon Glen Park in Provo Canyon. We will be making slings so bring $5.00 to help pay for materials or you can bring one already made or make one when you come to the meeting.

February's Club Meeting Review

Here is what we did in February. We met Scout troop 567 who where looking for a place to camp so that they could work on their cooking merit badge and we had a first timer. Thanks Adam for coming out and spending time with us. So in honer of Adam we will be making a cool project in March. So keep checking in for more information about next months meeting.
